The Opportunity
Escape is seeking a Sales Director, North America to lead and expand our US sales organization during a pivotal phase of growth.
This is a rare opportunity to play a formative role in a fast-growing cybersecurity company, driving strategy and execution while benefiting from an established and innovative product, a growing customer base, and strong investor backing.
You will lead a high-performing sales team comprised of Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Sales Engineering resources, while owning revenue growth objectives across North America.
As Sales Director, you'll collaborate directly with founders and executive leadership to shape our go-to-market strategy, grow our enterprise presence, and develop a scalable revenue engine to support Escape's growth trajectory.
This role suits a hands-on sales leader passionate about building, coaching, and scaling successful enterprise sales teams in a dynamic and competitive environment.
What You'll Do
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Sales Team
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Sales Engineer.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, deal reviews, and career development plans.
  • Drive the hiring and onboarding of top sales talent as the team scales.
  • Develop future sales leadership within the organization.

Drive Revenue Growth
  • Own and exceed revenue targets for North America.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across multiple sales segments.

Required Experience
  • 7+ years of B2B technology sales with a consistent record of revenue achievement.
  • 3+ years of sales leadership managing quota-carrying teams.
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
  • Ability to consistently exceed revenue targets through leadership and execution.
  • Track record leading teams and closing enterprise deals (ACV $50K+).
  • Skilled at managing complex sales cycles involving technical, security, procurement, and legal evaluations.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, application security, DevSecOps, or developer-focused platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and coaching skills.
  • Experience collaborating across global teams and multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling application security, DevSecOps, cloud security, or developer tools.
  • Background in Series A/B or rapidly scaling tech environments.
  • Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top sales talent.
  • Consistent overachievement (150%+ quota) in prior leadership or IC roles.
