OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Document care provided and promptly report any changes in client condition.
  • Deliver assistance and support for Activities of Daily Living, including ocassional heavy lifting.
  • Prepare nutritious meals; assist with feeding at times.
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Provide engaged companionship through conversation and activities.
  • Give medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Accompany clients with medical and errand transportation

REQUIREMENTS

  • A deeply compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
  • +1 year of caregiving experience (preferably in senior care, home health, or other person-centered role.
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible.
  • Possess current Drivers License, reliable transportation, and be able to commute within the Omaha metro area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • High school diploma or GED.
