The Role: ERP Systems Analyst


Kent Elastomer is seeking an ERP Systems Analyst to lead the implementation and provide ongoing support of our Infor ERP system. This position collaborates with department leaders, end users, IT resources, and implementation partners to help make sure the system supports our day-to-day manufacturing and business needs.


This role will structure and coordinate process review, system setup, testing, training, data cleanup, reporting, and user support. The right person will be comfortable working with both people and systems to understand the steps necessary in helping the company transition from manual to automated processes in Infor.


Responsibilities:


 ERP Implementation & Support

  • Lead the implementation and rollout of Infor ERP modules.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand current processes and document future process needs.
  • Continuously seek to simplify, standardize, and improve workflows using the ERP system.
  • Manage ERP project tasks, timelines, testing, follow-up items, and issue resolution.
  • Manage system setup, validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Track open issues, risks, and action items during implementation.


Business Analysis

  • Meet with employees and leaders from different areas of the business to gather system and process needs.
  • Help translate business needs into practical ERP solutions.
  • Review workflows and recommend improvements that drive accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, training documents, and other system documentation.

Data Management

  • Manage data cleanup, review, testing, and migration activities.
  • Help maintain accurate master data, including customers, vendors, inventory, bills of material, routings, and related ERP records.
  • Assist with creating and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and other tools that help users better understand the information in the system.

Training & Change Management

  • Prepare user guides, training materials, and standard work instructions.
  • Facilitate Assist with training sessions and provide hands-on support for employees learning the system.
  • Provide support after go-live by helping users troubleshoot questions and issues.
  • Encourage consistent ERP use and help employees understand the benefits of using the system correctly.

Continuous Improvement

  •  Review system utilization and look for opportunities to make the ERP system more useful for the business.
  • Support future ERP upgrades, integrations, and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with different departments to improve processes and data accuracy.
  • Participate in improvement projects tied to manufacturing, inventory, planning, purchasing, customer service, and related business areas.

Work Environment & Travel

  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule, allowing a combination of on-site and remote work based on business needs and project requirements.
  • Regular travel between KEP facilities, including Kent, Mogadore, and Winesburg is required to support ERP implementation activities, training, process reviews, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization, from front-line operators to department managers and executive leadership.


Requirements:


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience with ERP systems, business systems, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or process improvement.
  • Manufacturing background preferred.
  • Infor-XA ERP experience highly preferred.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to effectively train and support end users with varying levels of technical proficiency
