Job Description

What you’ll do:  

  • The Senior Consultant is responsible for providing strategic and operational consulting services to Acumatica customers following their go-live phase.
  • This role serves as a trusted advisor to long-term customers, helping them maximize their Acumatica investments through continuous business process optimization, adoption guidance, technical consultation, and relationship management.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong functional ERP expertise with the ability to discuss technical architecture, integration, reporting, and system enhancements.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for assigned ERP customers post go-live
  • Act as a customer’s advocate within the organization to ensure successful outcomes that drive customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to under customer objectives and upcoming initiatives
  • Providing continuous functional and business process consulting to help customers improve their Acumatica usage.
  • Assess current processes and recommend best practices to help improve efficiency
  • Provide insights into customers into existing and upcoming new features in the new Acumatica versions.
  • Discuss and advise on the system architecture, integrations, reporting, workflows and customization strategies
  • Guidance on Upgrade
  • Proactive performance management of customer’s environment
  • Partner with support, engineering, services and ISV teams to address customer needs
  • Communicate customer feedback to the product teams to influence future product enhancements
  • Support Customer Success teams in helping to identify upselling license opportunities
Qualifications

What you need to succeed: 

  • ​You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Technology, Commerce or a related field of study. 
  • You have basic accounting understanding; Draw T-accounts for analytical uses, know basic accounting concepts – ledgers, sub-ledgers, debits and credits. 
  • You have installation and configuration experience with various Business Application Software (Mid-Market ERP). Software presentation and demonstration experience. ERP System Financial and ad-hoc report writing a plus. Microsoft Office applications and presentation tools. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; SQL Server relational database concepts including database schemas and the ability to understand a relational database design. 
  • You are organized and analytical, and able to eliminate implementation obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. 
  • You have strong presentation skills, can communicate professionally, and can Write reports, business correspondence, professional emails and procedure manuals. 
  • You can read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information. 
  • You have 5+ years’ ERP software implementation experience in construction, including business consulting, project management, project definition, estimating, proposal writing, and engagement planning.  Experience in distribution, field services, supply chain, financials and/or Inventory ERP implementation is a plus. 
  • You are self-motivated with a proven track record in business software sales and knowledge of technology. 
  • You are comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
