Job description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for stock adjustments and maintaining inventory for all raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.

Responsibilities:
•    Lead large, multi-site team of warehouse employees.
•    Maintain open and productive communication channels with the entire Supply Chain department, as well as all departments within Ritedose, in order to speak for the needs of the Warehouse team.
•    Foster an environment of cooperation and team work with all warehouse personnel.
•    Coordinate inbound receipts of material.
•    Support material handling needs for all outbound shipments of finished goods, as coordinated by the Distribution Manager.
•    Maintain current physical inventory status of all raw materials, consumables and finished goods.
•    Obtain and keep a good working knowledge of the following systems and equipment.
•    Powered forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrapper, and the ERP System.
•    Cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse areas in accordance with GMP warehousing practices.
•    Coordinate waste handling and waste disposal activities.
•    Support inventory control cycle counts as called for - updating the inventory control system to reflect current stock status.
•    Maintenance of the ERP System as it relates to warehousing operations.
•    Maintain the forklift training and certification program.
•    Maintenance and security of material handling equipment used in the warehouse.
•    Maintenance and repair and service records for machinery and service agreements with outside companies to keep the machinery in good order.
•    Follow SOPs, safety, health, and cGMP guidelines.
 

4 year college degree, or 5 years' experience with computerized warehousing systems and planning.
Leadership experience in manufacturing/warehousing.
Ability to participate and develop a team-oriented working relationship within the operation.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
