Position Objective
Design, structure, and oversee technology solutions aligned with the organization's business objectives. The architect acts as a bridge between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring system coherence, scalability, and security. Occasional evening or weekend support or deployment work is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Design robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions
Collaborate with development, support, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless system integration
Produce architectural deliverables (diagrams, models, technical specifications)
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate tools
Contribute to cost estimates and implementation planning
Participate in application and integration support as needed
Act as a coach for application teams to address integration issues at the source and prevent recurrence
Participate in vendor negotiations and relationship management
Define and maintain the information systems architecture map
Develop architectural frameworks to guide IT projects
Ensure alignment between business strategies and technological capabilities
Govern organizational architecture standards, norms, and principles
Contribute to technology watch and innovation initiatives
Support IT governance and project portfolio management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5 to 10 years of experience in IT architecture
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Strong knowledge of integration, security, cloud (Azure, AWS), microservices, and APIs
Excellent communication, simplification, cross-functional leadership skills, and strong autonomy
Knowledge of tools and technologies such as:
Boomi Integration, Boomi Flow
Power Apps, Power Automate, GitHub, SQL, Power BI, Java, Grid
Assets
Knowledge of Infor M3 Cloud (ION, MEC, EC-CFT server, API, SDK-H5 Apps, Experience Designer, Velocity Suite, scheduling, monitoring, etc.)
Familiarity with Ortec, Verizon, and Bizspeed solutions
Knowledge of EDI technologies
Understanding of AI tools and concepts
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks
Experience in regulated environments (agri-food, etc.)
Proficiency in French and/or Spanish
