Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia, with preference given to those located within the DC Metro area and in close proximity to the Bethesda facility.

What You'll Be Doing: The Professional Relations Liaison (PRL) provides program education and develops relationships with referring providers, becoming a resource to the referral sources for the patients struggling with eating disorders and mood & anxiety disorders. The PRL has full territory management responsibility for all duties to meet quarterly goals in support of the center's census budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outreach to Professionals - Provides program education. Develops referral relationships with clinical professionals for both eating disorder and mood & anxiety. Works with both Medical/Surgical Hospitals and Behavioral Health hospitals in providing resources and identifying appropriate patients to refer. Develops relationships with medical centers, physicians and integrated delivery networks for program education and referral development, as well as large therapy groups and private practices. The PRL is accountable to budget and census needs when within a certain geography of a brick-and-mortar ERC or Pathlight facility. Responsible to accomplish metric measurements regarding activities and census fulfillment. The PRL analyzes market trends and needs and adjusts strategy accordingly.
  • Events Planning and Hosting – Organizes and facilitates outreach symposiums and trainings to ensure that ERC/Pathlight is visible in the community. Works with Director in identifying opportunities and appropriate speakers and topics.
  • CRM Input & Management – Manages CRM efficiently and timely, including development of correct market and referral information and follow up.
  • Internal meetings and duties – Provides update on competitor activity in market. Promotes positive rapport with clinical leadership throughout the system. Provides input for internal marketing team initiatives. Demonstrates deep expertise with services provided and modalities of care. Serveson ad hoc committees such as marketing, conference, communication committees.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in counseling/Mental health; Marketing or related field, communications, public relations, marketing, business. (REQUIRED)

Preferred Licensure:

  • Clinical designation (LCSW, LCP, Dietitian, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • 2+ years medical or behavioral health outreach experience - (REQUIRED)
  • 2+ years of medical/behavioral sales (preferred) 

Bonus Incentive: This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations. 

Maryland Pay Range
$100,000—$115,000 USD
