Job description

An Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) is a highly skilled nurse who provides rapid assessment and treatment to patients experiencing urgent and potentially life-threatening conditions. Working in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment, ER RNs care for individuals with a wide range of medical issues, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, strokes, infections, and injuries. They perform triage, administer medications, start IVs, assist with procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide critical support during emergencies. With strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and emotional resilience, ER RNs play a vital role in stabilizing patients, coordinating care, and ensuring safe, efficient transitions either to inpatient units or discharge.
