Description
Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a Rental Coordinator for our Lindon, UT location to effectively rent Caterpillar and allied equipment. This full time benefited position will be responsible for facilitating the rental and sales needs of current and prospective customers. The incumbent will possess the ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized and be able to develop relationships with both internal and external customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Rental customer activities: receive and make calls, answers questions, quotes rates and sale prices
  • Assists customers choose correct equipment models and sizes for application and jobsite requirements
  • Maintains proactive / creative attitude to increase rental sales activity
  • Ensures accurate and timely rental transactions: setting rental rates, invoicing, insurance verification, machine, and work tool configuration
  • Schedules / coordinates equipment transportation
  • Updates rental transactions and contract information in Dealer Business System
  • Coordinates / schedules maintenance and repairs with Service Department
  • Investigates and resolves customer issues with equipment deliveries, repairs, billing and other related items
  • Assists outside Sales Representatives as necessary.
  • Ensures that safety practices are a part of everyone's daily routine

Required Qualifications:
  • Math, reading, writing, and typing skills
  • Flexible with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks
  • Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
