Job description

Make Money and Travel the East Coast! Year round work available!

Carolina Environmental Construction, LLC is a professional environmental construction company. We specialize in the Solid Waste, Power, and Industrial markets. Our job sites are nationwide, primarily on the East Coast. Our ideal candidate for an Equipment Operator will have prior construction experience in the pipe, concrete, or grading industry and operating heavy machinery. We pay weekly on Friday. Current pay range for Equipment Operator is between $22 - $26 with plenty of overtime possible.

WORK LOCATION: TRAVELING, primarily the East Coast.


RESPONSIBLITIES for Equipment Operator

  • Operate equipment (ex. skid steer, loader, compactors, small trenching/etc.) to support Concrete Foundation and site work activities.
  • Perform excavation for foundations, trenching, footing prep, backfill, and rough grading to meet plan requirements.
  • Load, move, and place materials safely and efficiently (ex. aggregate, spoils, forms/material bundles, tools and supplies).
  • Perform daily equipment inspections , basic maintenance checks, and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Willingness and ability to perform hands-on labor outside of equipment operation to support carpentry/foundation crews.
  • Step out of the equipment as needed to assist the crew, including supporting carpenters and foundation crews with general labor tasks (ex. site prep, layout support, material handling, cleanup, formwork support).
  • Work independently or as directed by the Foreman to meet project goals and production.


REQUIREMENTS for Equipment Operator

  • Prior construction experience as Equipment Operator. Concrete and pipe experience is a plus.
  • Have a valid Driverโ€™s License with a clean record
  • OSHA 10 certification (Prefered)
  • Willingness and ability to travel and be away from home 100% of the time.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently, throughout an entire workday.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, hot and cold.
  • Ability to pass a background check and regular drug tests.
  • Strictly adhere to company Safety requirements and procedures
