Le titulaire du poste est responsable de l’exécution des services d’entretien préventif de l’équipement lourd commercial sur les sites des clients, en utilisant les technologies de pointe.

Fonctions et responsabilités

  • Fournir des services de maintenance préventive à tous les niveaux de manière professionnelle
  • Identifier et signaler les éléments supplémentaires qui nécessitent un suivi de la part d’un technicien de service
  • Veiller à la saisie et assurer la création de rapports précis de la liste de contrôle de maintenance préventive, de l’inspection et des informations relatives aux bons de travail au bénéfice du client
  • D’autres tâches peuvent être assignées

Compétences requises

  • Expérience dans un environnement axé sur le service et de la collaboration directe avec les clients et les opérateurs d’équipements
  • Le candidat retenu doit être motivé, énergique et avoir de solides compétences en communication
  • Le candidat doit être disposé à travailler après les heures normales et/ou à participer à des rotations au besoin, pour répondre aux besoins des clients
  • Un dossier de conducteur récent sera requis
  • Camion Classe 3 requis
  • Doit être capable de soulever jusqu’à 50 livres

Expérience requise

  • Expérience pour opérer et entretenir de la machineries lourdes et posséder des connaissances sur les machines automatiques et agricoles
  • Le candidat ayant une expérience de métier à un niveau d’apprenti de deuxième ou de troisième année est encouragé à postuler

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician in our Laval Construction & Forestry location.

This position is responsible for completing on-site preventative maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites, utilizing state of the art technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
  • Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a heavy duty technician
  • Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets
  • The successful candidate must be motivated, energetic, and have strong communication skills
  • Candidates must be willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required
  • Truck Class 3 required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience

  • Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
  • Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply
