Job description

Are you a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ready to break into one of medicine’s most rewarding and high-demand specialties?

Dermatology is one of the most sought-after fields in healthcare. It offers a rare, powerful combination: high-impact clinical care, procedures, a diverse patient population, and an unmatched work/life balance. Plus, with a performance-based model, it brings the potential to earn more than double the national benchmarks for APPs.

At Epiphany Dermatology, we are thrilled to introduce Learn Derm — our premier, flagship training program designed exclusively for ambitious NPs and PAs who want to fast-track their skills and launch a thriving career at Epiphany Dermatology.

Why Choose Learn Derm?

Learn Derm is a 12-month, immersive training experience led by our esteemed Physicians and Medical Market Directors. This program combines in-depth education with real-world clinical exposure to help you become a confident, skilled dermatology provider. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates are guaranteed placement at a specific clinic location, which will be mutually agreed upon prior to receiving an official offer.

Program Highlights:

  • Training: Participate in one-on-one training in El Paso or Dallas, TX, for your 12 months of didactic and clinical education.

  • Daily Clinical Rotations: Immerse yourself in hands-on clinic shadowing to maximize your exposure to a highly diverse range of skin conditions.

  • Flexible Study Resources: Supplement your clinic experience with provided textbooks and online learning materials for self-paced, at-home study.

  • Hands-On Practice: Step out of the classroom and directly into clinical practice to rapidly solidify your real-world skills.

  • Milestone Assessments: Track your professional growth with structured, milestone-based skill assessments designed to support your progress.

  • Guaranteed Placement: Upon successful completion of the program, you are guaranteed job placement at a mutually agreed upon clinic location.

Post-Training Placement Locations Currently Available:

  • Albuquerque, NM

  • Roswell, NM

  • Taos, NM

Application Requirements:

  • 1 letter of recommendation

  • Scanned school transcripts

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed and board-certified Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners

  • Passionate about dermatology and committed to long-term growth

  • Willing to relocate to TX (for training) and to an assigned clinic post-training

  • Able to commit to a 5-year employment contract following program completion

What We Offer:

  • Competitive training salary of $60,000 annually, with performance-based compensation post-program completion that rewards ambition - surpassing national benchmarks for APPs

  • Sign-on bonus & housing stipend (if applicable) during training, as well as reimbursement for eligible travel and educational expenses

Full suite of benefits, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month following your start date

  • Medical, life, and disability insurance at no cost to eligible employees

  • Comprehensive mental health support services

  • HSA and FSA options

  • 401(k) retirement plan with a company match

  • Certification reimbursement and relocation support (where applicable)

Work environment and physical requirements:

Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
