Description

TEKsystems is seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team. This person will be a dedicated resource at our customers site. The successful candidate will provide timely and efficient technical support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of patient care and operational efficiency that our customer is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.

Manage and resolve support tickets using the IT service management system.

Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software, including imaging and setting up new computers.

Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient and organizational data.

Provide training and support to staff on IT-related topics.

Monitor and maintain system performance and security.

Document IT procedures and policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.

Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and improve overall IT service delivery.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with network infrastructure and IT service management tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certification in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar is a plus.
