Our client is looking  EPIC Beacon Analyst  project Remote below is the detailed requirements.

Position: EPIC Beacon Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term

Must have : Beacon Certification

Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree or Masterโ€™s Degree in Computer science, or a related field.
  • Supervise Epic application design, development, maintenance activities of applications under direct purview.                                                                                            
  • Collaborate with end users to design Epic Beacon workflows by suggesting corrective adjustments or enhancements                                                                            
  • Determine staffing requirements, perform capacity planning for resources and supervise the work of direct reports to ensure that team is functioning effectively and efficiently                                                                                                                                       
  • Serve as a mentor, resource, and primary advisor for team members                                                                                                                                   
  • Lead all phases (e.g. design, build and testing) of small to medium size application projects including Epicโ€ฏsoftware upgrades, adoption of new Epic functionality and/or significant enhancements to integrated workflows.                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  • Provide Epic product function expertise for the design, build, and testing for assigned module(s), including but not limited to optime.              
  • Collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancements.     
  • Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs.
  • Provide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
  • Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation.                                                                                                          
  • Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.                                                                                                                                         
  • Provide support of application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on call coverage as required.                                                                                              
  • Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality; acquire and utilize knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Work with trainers to develop and maintain application specific training curriculum and materials.                                                                                                                 
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; review and test each new release; troubleshoot problems and questions from end users.
  • Support Product Owners in prioritization activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex billing issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
