Epic Managed Services Radiant Application Architect
Job Overview
The successful candidate will act as a leader in Epic Radiant, demonstrating expert technical skills Epic Radiant, providing regular mentorship to ensure the success of their application team, and oversee the quality of work product for their application and others. They will consult on and provide solutions that consider upstream, downstream, and enterprise effects of changes made within the system, and interact regularly with leaders at their assigned clients. They may contribute to engagement strategy and are accountable to the success of their assigned engagements.
Responsibilities
  • Lead their assigned team or scope to ensure success of the contract or engagement
  • Provide best-in-class customer service support for end users and stakeholders of the EHR system and train and oversee others on their team to provide the same level of service.
  • Aid in continuous improvement of service standards like ticket documentation.
  • Serve as a model for other analysts.
  • Perform design, build, and test application functions with minimal errors.
  • Translation of complex requirements from stakeholders into workflows and build.
  • Complete complex build via incidents or requests.
  • Ability to assess the necessity of a request against the current system functionality, maintenance implications, and value of the build for stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with all new functionalities that are released for the EHR system.
  • Provide the strategy for the team to meet or exceed SLAs to avoid contractual penalties.
  • Identify opportunities for business and scope expansion.
  • Collaborate with IT staff and other stakeholders to integrate Epic with other systems.
  • Drive team to strive for Root Cause Analysis and Resolution to reduce system maintenance.
  • Drive data analysis and reporting to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
  • Increase firm presence through social media, community involvement, and professional associations.
  • Mentor and educate internal team members and clients.
  • As needed, assist in scoping proposals using technical expertise

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare informatics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Certification (or equivalent) In Epic Radiant - REQUIRED.
  • Strong understanding of EHR systems, implementations, support methodologies, integrations, and third-party applications related to their scope of expertise.
  • Experience leading teams or large projects.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Experience with ITSM for work management and support services.
  • Expertise building standardized documentation tools.
  • Expertise completing discovery and requirements gathering for application build or projects.
  • Five (5) years of technical application build and migration experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience leading small projects or initiatives.

Preferred Skills
  • Multiple Certifications (or equivalent experience) In their EHR of expertise.
  • Experience supporting clients in a managed services team.
  • PMP or ITIL professional certifications.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Experience collaborating with managers, directors, and executives.

Additional Information
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, as needed.
  • Work schedule is typically M-F.

This role has a salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 and may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range accounts for various factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms. This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
