Position Summary

EPIC Health is seeking an experienced Healthcare Clinical Administrator (APP Leadership Role) to oversee the operational performance of our primary care and integrated care clinics.

This is a hybrid clinical-administrative leadership role designed for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (FNP, PA) who has transitioned into operational leadership.

While clinical knowledge is essential, this role is primarily focused on clinic operations, practice management, team leadership, and performance improvement, rather than direct patient care.

The ideal candidate understands both sides of healthcare delivery—clinical workflows and operational systems—and can bridge the gap between providers, staff, and executive leadership to drive high-quality, efficient care.

What You'll Do Clinical Operations & Practice Management
  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and consistent care delivery
  • Optimize scheduling, staffing, and provider utilization
  • Support implementation of clinical workflows, protocols, and operational standards
  • Ensure smooth coordination between providers, nursing staff, and administrative teams
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and support clinical and administrative staff across assigned locations
  • Drive accountability, performance management, and team development
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of staff
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and patient-centered care
Quality & Patient Experience
  • Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and operational KPIs
  • Identify gaps in workflows and implement improvements
  • Support compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with leadership to enhance patient experience and care consistency
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams and operational leadership
  • Partner with HR, billing, operations, and specialty teams to support clinic success
  • Assist in rollout of new programs, initiatives, and workflow changes
Operational Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies and support process redesign initiatives
  • Use reporting and data insights to support decision-making
  • Help standardize workflows across multiple clinic locations
What You Bring Required Qualifications
  • Active licensure as an F NP or PA
  • Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience, with 2+ years in leadership, administrative, or operational roles
  • Strong understanding of outpatient primary care or integrated care environments
  • Proven experience managing teams, workflows, or clinic operations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Practice Manager, Clinical Lead, or Operations Manager
  • Experience in value-based care, population health, or multi-site healthcare operations
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (Athena preferred)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience a plus
  • Experience transitioning from clinical practice into administrative leadership
