What is an Epic engineer?

An Epic Engineer is a professional who specializes in implementing, customizing, and maintaining Epic Systems software, which is a widely used electronic health record (EHR) system in healthcare organizations. They work closely with clinicians and IT teams to ensure that the Epic software meets the needs of the hospital or clinic, handling tasks such as workflow optimization, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
