About This Role
We are seeking highly experienced Epic Beaker Program Managers to support a large-scale, multi-year Epic Beaker implementation for a leading healthcare organization. Ideal candidates will bring deep Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) and/or Clinical Pathology (CP) experience and have a proven track record leading complex laboratory implementations. As a key leader within the program, you will drive strategic initiatives across laboratory operations, clinical stakeholders, physician informatics, and IT organizations. You will play a critical role in ensuring successful implementation, adoption, workflow optimization, governance, and operational transformation throughout the Epic Beaker journey. These positions are expected to support a multi-year program with significant future growth opportunities as implementations expand across additional regions.
Duration: 6+ months (with the potential to extend)
W2 Hourly Rate: $80-100/hr DOE
What You Will Work On
  • Lead large-scale Epic Beaker AP and/or CP implementation programs from planning through deployment and optimization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT, laboratory operations, physician informatics teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive business and operational discussions while ensuring alignment between technical and clinical objectives.
  • Oversee and coordinate 20+ concurrent workstreams, managing interdependencies, risks, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead workflow analysis, process redesign, standardization initiatives, and change management activities across laboratory operations.
  • Partner with leadership teams to establish governance structures, implementation strategies, and operational readiness plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in laboratory operations, specimen workflows, orders, collections, and related clinical processes.
  • Facilitate discussions at both executive and operational levels, helping stakeholders navigate complex implementation decisions.
  • Support organizational adoption and optimization efforts to ensure long-term success of Epic Beaker solutions.

What You Will Bring
  • Extensive experience leading Epic Beaker AP and/or Clinical Pathology (CP) implementations.
  • Proven success serving as a Program Manager or implementation leader on complex healthcare technology transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of laboratory operations, workflows, governance models, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on subject matter expert, working "in the weeds" of implementation activities when needed.
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale workstreams simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, operational leaders, clinicians, and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in workflow redesign, stakeholder engagement, change management, and implementation governance.
  • Prior experience serving as a trusted advisor and implementation leader within complex healthcare environments.

What You Can Expect
  • An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart.
  • Compensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors.
  • Total Rewards include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).
