What is Epic Beaker implementation?

Epic Beaker implementation refers to the process of installing, configuring, and integrating the Epic Beaker laboratory information system (LIS) within a healthcare organization. Epic Beaker is a module within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, designed to manage laboratory workflows, specimen tracking, and results reporting. Implementation involves assessing current lab processes, customizing Beaker to fit organizational needs, migrating data, training staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Successful implementation helps streamline lab operations and improve patient care outcomes.
