Job description

Medlivo is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Mission Viejo, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Basic Requirements – Cath Lab Tech
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
Experience in an invasive cardiac cath lab performing coronary angiograms, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
Community hospital experience required
EP (Electrophysiology) lab experience strongly preferred
Experience with scrubbing and circulating during procedures
Licensure / Certifications:
ARRT required (RCIS not accepted)
BLS required
Fluoroscopy Permit required
ACLS preferred
Skills:
Experience assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures such as left/right heart cath, PCI, PTCA, and cardiac stent placement
Experience with temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion
Knowledge of EKG lead placement and rhythm interpretation
Ability to scrub and maintain sterile field during procedures
Familiarity with EP procedures including ablations, mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies preferred
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and cath lab equipment
Schedule / Additional Requirements:
4x10 shifts with variable start times
On-call required: ~8 days per month
Weekend coverage required (more than every other weekend)
Epic charting preferred
May float to affiliated facility if needed.
