Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $55,000-$65,000 (Yearly)

Company: Polaris Campaigns

Job Description

Polaris is a Latino owned, progressive media strategy agency dedicated to providing innovative solutions to candidates and causes. We believe in building a collaborative environment where we can provide our expertise to our clients to best achieve their goals. We want to work with people who are bold enough to think differently and who hunger for knowledge.

Position: Client Services Associate

Department: Client Strategy

Reports to: Director of Client Strategy

Effective date: February 2026

Classification: FTE, hybrid in Washington, DC

Term: Temporary, with a set-end date in November 2026

This role is hybrid and the team is expected to work 10am-6pm EST with extended hours during the busiest part of the election season. This position will also be expected to be in-person at least one day per week. Other flexibility may be required as clients' needs shift.

Our small, dynamic media planning and buying agency is looking for an entry-level Client Services Associate to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years of work experience who is eager to launch a career in client strategy and account management. • Take initiative: This person comes to the table with a proactive, problem solving mindset and is solutions oriented. This person can hold others accountable and contributes to a positive and healthy working environment where everyone is comfortable being themselves.

  • Be collaborative and communicative: This person has a track record of collaborating and communicating effectively within an organization. This includes collaborating across departments and areas of expertise, along with successful collaboration with external partners.

  • Be a subject matter expert: This person has prior expertise in their field and lends that expertise to the success of Polaris and all Polaris clients. This person believes in continuous learning and values the input of other subject matter experts on the Polaris team, along with external partner experts.

Client Services Associate Responsibilities:

  • Account Coordination: Maintain and update project timelines to ensure all campaign milestones are reached on schedule.

  • Team Accountability: Keep internal media and analytics teams on schedule by managing daily task lists and deadlines.

  • Project Management: Utilize software such as Asana or Monday.com to track project status and organize client deliverables.

  • Data Organization: Use spreadsheet software to track client budgets and reporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.

  • Communication: Translate client needs into clear narratives for the internal team and assist in preparing client-facing reports and presentations.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned to support the Director of Client Strategy.
