BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Environmental Services Coordinator who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at Mease Countryside Hospital.

Environmental Services Coordinator Position Details:

  • Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital
  • Location: Safety Harbor, FL
  • Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
  • Shift Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
  • Weekend Work: Every Other
  • On Call: No

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the daily operations of the environmental services team.
  • Observes the quality of environmental services team members by conducting weekly inspections of areas of responsibility.
  • Maintains records of special cleaning, floor and other projects.
  • Communicates with customers to resolve problems and supports team members.
  • Coordinates bed tracking systems to ensure prompt completion of discharge cleaning.
  • Organizes the receiving and storing of supplies to meet service requirements.
  • Serves as a departmental liaison for all internal and external customers.
  • In emergencies, performs all aspects of the environmental services positions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required experience is 1 year in a Lead/Supervisor role or 6 months in a BayCare Environmental Services Technician Senior position
  • Preferred certification: CHEST
  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred - Associates
