DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is seeking to hire Part-Time Interns to work in the field in areas such as but not limited to, Kansas, Illinois, and Maryland. This opportunity is open to all applicants seeking an Internship within the Geospatial discipline.
In this Internship, you will get the opportunity to work with a team of seasoned GIS Analysts and Project Managers to assist on Indoor Mapping field collection projects with technical duties and daily activities. Work will could occur during the week day evenings, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal working hours.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Working toward an Associates or Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Science, or related field of study is required
  • Focus in GIS, Geography or Environmental Practice preferred
  • Software proficiency - GIS, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation

COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
