Environmental Program Manager Jobs in Sulphur, OK

We are currently looking for a Full Time Child Care Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Family Assistance Program team located at the Chickasaw Nation Child Development Center.
Summary:
Monitors and maintains quality assurance for all licensed and unlicensed child care programs within the Chickasaw Nation service area.
Responsibilities:
* Works collaboratively with Child Care providers to promote high-quality care and educational development to all children
* Develops and maintains resource materials for childcare providers within the Chickasaw Nation
* Conducts monitoring of all childcare providers and maintains accurate and up -to-date records
* Coordinates and provides support to all contracted providers participating in the Child Care Assistance program
* Assists childcare providers with implementation and oversight of monitoring and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with licensing requirements
* Performs additional health and safety inspections, including playgrounds and emergency preparedness procedures such as tornado, intruder and fire safety drills
* Develops and maintains a resource-monitoring tool to include updated grant resources for participating providers
* Assists providers in locating and accessing childcare training opportunities within different areas of the Chickasaw Nation boundaries
* Supports the coordination and implementation of health and safety requirements for child care providers
* Collaborates with other Chickasaw Nation departments and community partners to provide training and resources to improve the over-all quality of childcare services
* Submits required grant reports in a timely manner to the Family Assistance Program manager
* Investigates complaints related to childcare providers, including concerns regarding licensing requirements and program compliance
* Organizes and maintains accurate and confidential program records, reports and documentation
* Serves as a liaison with other health and safety licensing programs
* Coordinates and prepares CPR and first aid training opportunities for child care providers
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types

* Knowledge in early childhood and childcare programs (e.g. NAECY, Oklahoma Resource and Referral, Oklahoma Child Care)
* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
Skills:
Essential:
* Knowledge of computer programs and databases in order to document and track all required data
Experience:
Essential:
* 3 years directly related experience
Education:
Essential:
* High School, GED or Equivalent
Nonessential:
* Bachelors Degree in directly related field
Nonessential:
* Bachelors degree in Education or three to five plus years working in Early Childhood Education or within a childcare setting
Credentials:
Essential:
* Pass general background check
* Standard Driver's License
* DHS licensed to monitor licensed childcare facilities
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI)
Nonessential:
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
* First Aid Certification
Essential:
* Must complete licensed training through DHS within 6 months of start date, in order to monitor Licensed Child Care facilities
Nonessential:
* Must obtain CPR and First Aid instructor certification within 6 months of start date
Working Conditions:

* Works in an office setting
