Job description

Environmental Program Manager

The role reports to the Director of Environmental and is responsible for developing and managing Clean Earth's environmental systems, programs and processes.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  1. Management of Responsible Recycling Certification for designated facilities
  2. Managing and maintaining the Clean Earth Disposal Vendor approved facility list
  3. Conduct online and in-person compliance assessments and audits of disposal/recycling vendors to ensure risk-minimization
  4. Coordinate the overall scheduling and tracking of audits for all disposal/recycling vendors, including vendor database management
  5. Coordinate with the various stakeholders in the approval process to add or review vendors
  6. Analyzing and evaluating opportunities to expand the use of our environmental management system
  7. Development and implementation of environmental policies and programs
  8. Perform comprehensive environmental audits with internal compliance team, in conjunction with local and state regulators, and by client representatives
  9. Develop/participate Standard Operating Procedures for compliance with environmental permits
  10. Travel as necessary to meet the demands of projects
