The GSD Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for organizational alignment with the GSD growth goal and approach. Through leveraging a deep appreciation of the objectives and needs of GSD's most demanding customers and highest risk initiatives, the PMO is uniquely positioned to create and deploy effective frameworks, systems, and program managers to defend GSD's Big Bet strategy so that GSD can fullfill its Strategic Growth Intent.
Position Summary
GSD PMO Program Managers drive multi-site GSD strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organization goals. This role oversees one or more initiatives, including establishing governance frameworks, managing risks, and monitoring performance. For initiatives under their purview, the Program Manager engages with customers and stakeholders at all levels as an initiative champion to enhance project delivery and organizational efficiency.
Program Managers also support the definition of and execution against annual PMO plans and roadmaps, as well as contribute to the annual strategic intent process. With a strong background in stakeholder management and leadership, PMO Program Managers will play a critical role in achieving business success and fostering a culture of excellence.
This is not a project management or site-specific position. This is a strategic role across GSD sites, projects, and teams to align individual and site team results with GSD goals and customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Program management and oversight of one or more multi-site GSD Strategic Initiatives, including but not limited to:
    • Understands internal and external stakeholder needs and expectations
    • Identifies roadblocks to success, and establishes effective actions to overcome
    • Establishes, educates and enforces governance frameworks and success criteria,
    • Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project delivery.
    • Monitors performance against program metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Ensures adherence to best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Fosters strong relationships with customers, project teams, stakeholders, and executive management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Creates, uses, and deploys programmatic frameworks, tools, and systems.
    • Provides program level leadership including oversight, guidance, and functional management.
  • Works with commercial and site teams to drive growth and meet new market needs aligned with GSD Strategy, including new product development, technology deployment, and ensuring scalability.
  • Identifies growth opportunities within customers and markets by bringing holistic capability view.
  • Contributes to the creation of PMO goals, plans, and roadmaps, as well as the execution against the resulting Office priority projects.
  • Contributes to the annual GSD Strategic Intent process, including formulation and revision of Strategic Initiatives. Provides key inputs to define technology roadmaps, commercial initiatives, and customer insights.
  • Champions GSD Strategy and Initiatives to the sites.
  • Serves as a trusted advocate representing both key customers to the sites as well as the sites to key customers.
  • Creates, effectively writes, and communicates multi-site proposals to customers.
  • May support the onboarding and development of new GSD program managers.
  • May serve as an interim primary point of contact for customers until an account manager is determined.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Credentials and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering or science field or in Business Administration. Advanced degrees in engineering or technical fields preferred.
  • Technical experience in R&D, production, and engineering environments.

  • Experience managing multi-person and/or multifunctional projects.
  • Understanding of program life cycles and phase gates.
  • Experience in risk management and issue resolution.
  • Experienced in use of data analytics to drive evidence-based decision making.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $109,800.00 - $164,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
