What is an environmental police officer?

Environmental Police are law enforcement officers who specialize in enforcing laws and regulations that protect the environment. Their duties include investigating pollution, illegal dumping, wildlife crimes, and violations of environmental permits. They often work closely with government agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and may also educate the public about conservation. Environmental Police play a crucial role in safeguarding natural resources and public health.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as an environmental police officer?

To thrive as an Environmental Police Officer, you need knowledge of environmental laws, investigative techniques, and law enforcement procedures, usually supported by a degree in criminal justice, environmental science, or a related field and relevant certifications.
