Job description

We are looking for an experienced Microbiologist to join our Quality Control team in a nutraceutical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English & Spanish) and have a strong background in laboratory testing, microbiological analysis, and quality control procedures. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microbiological testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Perform environmental monitoring to ensure a contamination-free production environment
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing results
  • Document and report test results in compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist in investigating microbial contamination issues and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of the microbiology lab
  • Support regulatory inspections and audits by providing accurate records and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a microbiology laboratory within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food industry
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to perform microbiological testing and interpret results accurately
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required
