VCA Northwood Animal Hospital is growing our Patient Care Team and seeking a Veterinary Assistantto join our dedicated and compassionate team.About Our Hospital

The Role

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting both patient care and the client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, being part of a team, and gaining hands-on experience in a veterinary setting.

What You'll Do
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care
  • Restrain pets safely and comfortably during exams and procedures
  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain hospital areas
  • Support feeding, walking, and basic animal care
  • Help provide a positive and welcoming experience for clients
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in animal care or a veterinary setting

Schedule:Full- timeopportunitywithrotating Saturdays.4 x 10 hour shifts
