JOB DESCRIPTIONMaterials Analyst ResponsibilitiesMaterial Analyst Maintains ERP system for all Material functional areas such as Item Master, BOM, ship to locations, and inventory parametersCreates daily production schedules and ensures production output is recorded and posted into the ERP systemCommunicates No Surprise Forms to customers when supply shortages occur.Reviews daily MRP supply reports and takes action as necessaryIdentifies Customer cum inaccuracies and supplier inaccuracies as neededTracks component inventory inaccuracies for root cause identification and corrective action(s). Responsible for ensuring the issue(s) are correctedResponsible for performing daily cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory variancesTracks and submits Premium Freight events and downtime caused by supplierResponsible for creating debit memos for cost recoveryResponsible for communicating DMR’s to assigned suppliersResponsible for obtaining the disposition of Quality Hold materialsResponsible to track the status of supplier communication for engineering changes as proposed by program managementResponsible for reporting daily on all key performance measures of the materials department, including inventory valuation, cycle counts and inventory accuracy, and past-due partsResponsible for achieving inventory valuation and inventory turn targets for assigned productsActively participates in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations and the 8D process in order to develop root cause analysis for problem resolution as requiredReporting accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and informing the supervisor of known HSE&E conditions that could adversely affect other team members, assets or the publicEnsures compliance with all safety procedures and ensures safe working procedures in assigned production areasResponsible for BOS compliance with MMSA procedures as established by SCMEducation and Experience:Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or similar field preferred1-2 years of experience in inventory management along with a related degree. If no degree, additional equivalent of 3-5 years materials experience within Manufacturing, Automotive Strongly Preferred.Experience with Materials flow, analysis, or coordination inside Manufacturing operations.
