Description

Position Overview: The Data Analyst II role is responsible for EDI operations and analytics as well as broader data analysis and reporting. This position supports reliable electronic data exchange while transforming transactional and operational data into actionable insights. The role works cross-functionally with business partners, operations, IT, and data teams to ensure data accuracy, performance, and decision support.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and support day-to-day EDI transaction processing to ensure timely and accurate data exchange.
  • Support EDI mapping, testing, and maintenance for existing and new clients/partners.
  • Analyze and resolve EDI errors, rejections, and acknowledgments.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring EDI and data transmission issues.
  • Validate data accuracy across EDI systems, source applications, and downstream consumers.
  • Identify data quality, mapping, and business rule issues and partner with PLAD/ Account management teams to resolve them.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to automation, monitoring, and reporting processes.
  • Document data definitions, EDI workflows, mappings, and analytical methodologies.
  • Analyze EDI and operational data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business, operational, compliance, and audit needs.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor junior analysts or EDI team members as needed.
  • Contribute to standardization of EDI metrics, reporting, and best practices.


What You Will Bring to MedOne:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a data analyst, EDI analyst, or hybrid analytics/integration role.
  • Experience supporting common EDI transactions i.e. 834, 837.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration, ETL workflows, or operational reporting
  • Experience with automation and scheduling tools such as VisualCron, JAMS, UiPath, or similar platforms to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues within multiple processes.
  • Solid communication skills at an internal and external level as well as a technical and executive level.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability to troubleshoot issues within multiple processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
