Join a High-Impact Federal Engineering Team

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to support federal facilities and environmental compliance programs. In this role, you will lead environmental investigations, support remediation efforts, and ensure regulatory compliance across a range of projects.

This is a long-term contract opportunity offering the ability to support critical federal infrastructure and environmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review environmental reports, permits, and documentation
  • Support environmental investigations, remediation, and compliance projects
  • Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for environmental projects
  • Review contractor work products for quality and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance
  • Conduct site inspections and environmental assessments
  • Analyze data and perform quality control checks

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Experience supporting environmental compliance, remediation, or engineering projects
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare technical documentation
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience supporting federal or government facilities
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g. CERCLA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, SPCC, NPDES)
  • Experience with environmental data systems or GIS tools
  • Experience managing or supporting multi-site projects
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and fieldwork
  • May require site visits, inspections, and travel across facilities
  • Exposure to environmental and industrial site conditions 
Security Clearance Requirement
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
  • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and PIV card issuance
