About the Position: This position is located within the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division. Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects; Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of a project in coordination with other functional elements; AND Assist in the evaluation of the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects; Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements; Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives; AND lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
