Job description

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Environmental Services Worker to care for our residents at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is located in beautiful Buffalo, Missouri. Buffalo has multiple outdoor experiences such as hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing.  Buffalo is a great community that offers small town charm and friendly reasonably priced neighborhoods with an excellent school system and Dallas County Technical Institute available for students pursuing vocational jobs.

About the facility: Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134-bed long-term care, skilled nursing center. It includes a 34-bed memory care unit, as well as a 16-bed high-functioning memory care unit. These units meet the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day includes: Day shift will clean resident rooms, dining rooms, and the beauty shop. Only vacuuming when needed. The night shift will vacuum all carpet and rugs, remove all office trash, clean up all dishes in dining rooms, and sweep/mop all areas.

  • Changing bed linens daily
  • Cleaning resident rooms
  • Cleaning public restrooms and main areas  
  • Gathering trash throughout the building

Job Requirements:

  • Education: NA
  • Experience: Will Train
  • Skills: NA
  • Licensure/Certification: Family and Friends CPR within 6 months of employment
  • Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the day and work at a computer for the remaining 10%

The position is Full Time, Days 7a.m-3p.m
