This position is designed for remote work, allowing for flexibility while ensuring you are actively engaged with clients and collaborating with colleagues. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing psychotherapy for those affected by major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Building trusting relationships with clients by establishing rapport and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for therapeutic dialogue.
• Collaborating actively with interdisciplinary team members to align efforts and exchange insights that further client goals and treatment efficacy.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices in care delivery and crisis management effectively, assisting clients through challenging situations.
• Participating in supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of best practices in social work.

This role specifically focuses on individuals experiencing severe emotional and mental health challenges in the Wichita, Kansas area, a community that frequently faces barriers to accessing mental health care. You will work with diverse populations, respecting and understanding varying traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for varied populations.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.
• A proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under the structure of the organization while adhering to ethical guidelines and established protocols.

We encourage applicants with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health capacity to apply. Familiarity with community health resources will be considered an asset, as will proficiency in crisis intervention techniques.
