Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are seekingan experienced Account Manager with print knowledge preferred for Cleveland, OH (other applicable areas).

Job Summary

The Account Manager acts as the primary service contact responsible for managing the customer relationship for key strategic accounts. This includes timely and accurate pricing, order entry and tracking, inventory management, problem resolution, handling customer inquiries, and providing world class customer service.

The Account Manager has firsthand knowledge of the essentials of assigned key accounts. The ideal candidate is adept in principles of costing, knowledgeable of print and related products, machine capabilities, market segments, and outsourcing partnerships.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

These are the functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Functions as the Primary Owner of Key Accounts, including client relationships and selling/upselling.
  • Anticipates customers' needs/expectations; ability to effectively sell Cenveo scope of services to create a professional, mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Handles escalated matters with clients/sales/operations; not limited to order status, pricing, billing, shipments.
  • Manages data entry/order processing functions, materials creation; website catalog setup; maintenance.
  • Expedites and revises job status as needed; generates sales orders utilizing established guidelines.
  • Negotiates on behalf of Cenveo, Envelope Group (quality, schedule etc.) to a successful completion.
  • Generates and maintains sales, shipment and margin reports; Manages customer visits.
  • Utilizes internal technology tools to manage opportunities and achieve results towards account profitability.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, production methods and services offered by the company and its competitors and needs of actual and potential customers in the market in general.

Other (Non-Essential) Functions

Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

  • Environment is typically general office, may spend short periods in the manufacturing environments
  • Exposure including but not limited to dust, dirt, high noise levels and variations in temperature.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Five (5) years of customer service and/or sales experience in the graphic arts or printing industry (preferred)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Product knowledge of print and print-related services; Thorough understanding of pricing/proposal methods.
