POSITION: Building Envelope/Cladding Estimator LOCATION: Holly Springs/Canton GA

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is a leading building envelope contractor specializing in commercial exterior systems. They're seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team and drive growth through accurate estimating and pre-construction services.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Building Envelope/Cladding Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial projects, specializing in various exterior systems including stucco, EIFS, plaster, fiber cement panels, and exterior restoration work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

โ€ข Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for building envelope systems

โ€ข Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents

โ€ข Develop accurate material, labor, and equipment costs

โ€ข Specialize in estimating for:

  • Stucco systems
  • EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System)
  • Plaster applications
  • Fiber cement panel systems
  • Backer rod and caulking
  • Exterior restoration projects
โ€ข Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
โ€ข Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
โ€ข Assist in value engineering and alternative system recommendations
โ€ข Support project handoff to operations team
โ€ข Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field โ€ข Experience with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar software โ€ข EIFS manufacturer certifications โ€ข Knowledge of building codes and industry standards โ€ข Experience with historical restoration projects โ€ข HAAG certification a plus
