  • Utilize Precision Tools: Masterfully operate and calibrate tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges to measure dimensions and tolerances.
  • Document and Report: Accurately record inspection data, including dimensions, test results, and non-conformances. Create detailed reports on defective parts and collaborate with the production team to address root causes.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all components comply with company specifications and industry standards. Assist in the continuous improvement of quality control processes.
  • Blueprint and Specification Reading: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics to understand part specifications and tolerances.
Skills & Qualifications

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus and a keen eye for identifying subtle defects or variations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) are highly preferred and may influence the starting pay rate.
