Quality Control (QC) Tech - GDOT Certification Required Inspect, sample and test aggregate stockpiles/material (field/lab testing) Perform testing proficiently and accurately Document test results in database, maintain appropriate hardcopy files Troubleshoot problems and resolution of any product quality issues or concerns Communicate effectively and timely with regulatory agencies Have and maintain ALDOT and GDOT QC certifications Other duties as required Heavy Equipment Operator Responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe manner Experience operating large excavators 80K lbs to 110K lbs; articulating haul trucks, Komatsu HM400-40 ton front-end wheel loaders, CAT 980 and Komatsu WA500 to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials during mining-related activities Perform basic maintenance on mobile equipment Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate, and refill equipment as necessary Other duties as required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Comprehensive Benefit Plan to include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD; Paid Time Off (PTO) at 90 days of employment; 401(k) with a competitive match; 8 paid holidays Experience and Skills: What You Will Need: Current GDOT QC Certification is required QC experience in mining or construction environment is required Excellent verbal and written skills Team player Strong organizational skills Experience operating heavy equipment (loader, dozer, haul truck, excavator, etc.) Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
