Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Technician / Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing operations by inspecting products, monitoring production quality, identifying defects, and helping drive continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on, floor-based quality role ideal for candidates with experience in quality control, manufacturing inspection, production support, or precision measurement. You will work closely with production teams to ensure products meet specifications, reduce defects, and maintain high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Technician, you will:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on components and finished products
  • Use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection equipment
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances, and product specifications
  • Monitor product quality directly on the production floor during manufacturing operations
  • Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and quality issues
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action investigations
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation accurately
  • Assist with implementing and sustaining quality standards and procedures
  • Partner with production teams to improve processes and reduce defects
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing efforts, and 5S programs
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, quality control, quality inspection, or production support
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar inspection tools
  • Strong attention to detail and defect identification skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks

Preferred

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing quality environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as:
  • Forklift certification or material handling experience

You should be proficient in:

  • Quality Inspection Experience
  • Quality Control Experience
