Job description

At American Locker, we’re committed to making life simpler by streamlining the management of packages using our electronic smart lockers and other advanced solutions. Whether it’s last mile delivery at multifamily properties, corporate offices, or click & collect orders in retail, we find the best solutions for our customers and ensure their success.


We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Las Vegas, NV.

What You'll Do:


  • Complete inspection of incoming materials per engineering drawings, specifications, and Quality Inspection Plans.
  • Complete and review First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Work closely with other teams such as Assembly, Fabrication, Warehouse and Engineering.
  • Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
  • Perform manufacturing in-process and final inspections and testing per inspection plans as required.
  • Support new product development activities as needed.
  • Proposing improvements to the production process
  • Any other duty as assigned.


Requirements

At a Minimum You Have:


  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced startup environment.

  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), email, and other common programs.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to use measuring instruments like gauges, meters, calipers, and computers


Physical Requirements:


· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, unassisted.

· Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
