Quality Control Inspector

Pay:$17/hour

Location:Shreveport, LA

Employment Type:Full-Time

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-orientedQuality Control Inspectorto ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, documenting findings, and working closely with production teams to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to identify defects, and a commitment to maintaining consistent quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality and accuracy.
  • Verify products meet company specifications and customer requirements.
  • Identify defects, discrepancies, and non-conforming materials.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production personnel.
  • Assist in investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Use measuring tools and inspection equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company quality procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Previous quality control, inspection, or manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and work instructions.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
