This role uses precision measuring equipment and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to verify conformance on nuclear, DoE, DoD, and AS9100/ISO9001 projects. 1. Dimensional Inspection & Measurement Perform precise dimensional inspections at every stage of production to verify that Master Machine’s products meet drawing specifications, GD&T requirements, and customer quality standards. First Article, In-Process & Final Inspection
  • Perform dimensional inspections (first article, in-process, and final) using conventional precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and digital height gages
  • Interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to inspection activities
  • Document all inspection results accurately and maintain traceability throughout the production cycle
CMM Programming & Operation

  • Maintain QA-controlled inventory and ensure incoming materials are properly identified and stored
  • Verify material certifications and test reports accompany incoming shipments

  • Perform assigned QC witness and hold points as identified in work travelers
  • Verify that all inspection activities are performed according to customer requirements, procedures, and contract agreements
  • May require traveling to customer or supplier facilities for off-site inspection activities
