Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our office in Texas. They are a world leading provider of large scale steelworks for offshore, subsea and many other industries. They are looking to build a design team in Texas consisting of draughtsman and design engineers.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Key tasks - Preparation of high quality engineering documents/packages in accordance with templates and Quality Management System.
• Technical ability within core field and contribution to project execution on a general level including Quality Assurance work (preparation, check and review) of project documentation prior to handover.
• Follow-up with Customer and/or Third parties verifying or clarifying design works issued.
• To be capable of working independently with drawings and liaising with engineers on any technical issues that may occur. To have a feeling of ownership within the projects he/she works with and have a pride in the quality of work delivered.
• Projects - Primarily works with the offshore Oil & Gas sector and within Renewable on structural and dynamic issues.
  • Liaise with and support other departments as required. (Marketing, Quality, Approvals etc)
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
    • Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering
    • Steel fabrication experience or Oil & Gas experience
    • Problem solver & Innovator.
    • Energetic and Dynamic individual.
