The Opportunity
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineering - Senior Associate, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Tax practice, you will leverage your technical skills and creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities to grow.
In this role at PwC, you will utilize a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will contribute to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Designing, coding, and testing applications to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Utilizing Java, Python, and JavaScript to create scalable and efficient software systems
- Managing API integrations and microservices to support seamless application functionality
- Conducting code reviews and adhering to coding standards to maintain software quality
- Implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline development processes
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional software designs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business processes through software solutions
- Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to optimize system performance
- Applying object-oriented design principles to develop robust software architectures
- Engaging in business requirements analysis to align software development with client needs
- Embracing change and demonstrating learning agility to adapt to evolving project demands
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience

- Developing applications using Java and Python programming languages
- Excelling in API Management and Microservices architecture

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
