Job description

Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a versatile and highly skilled Java, Scala, Python Developer to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java, Scala, and Python to design, build, and maintain applications that solve complex problems and meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain software using Java, Scala, and Python
• Design and implement scalable solutions for data processing
• Build APIs and backend services to support applications
• Optimize code for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with teams to define project goals and deliverables
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in Java programming
• Expertise in Scala development
• Strong Python scripting skills
• Familiarity with object-oriented and functional programming paradigms
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Experience with backend frameworks and libraries
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Engineering, Computational Science, etc.
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance
• Full U.S. Citizenship
Preferred:
• Experience with distributed systems
• Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
