Job description

Description
Sales Development Representative - Data & Analytics
Location Hybrid - Naperville, IL
How you'll contribute to our mission
As a Sales Development Representative on Frontline Education's Data & Analytics Sales team, you'll play a vital role in connecting K-12 school districts with solutions that help educators make smarter, more informed decisions. You'll often be the first point of contact for prospective partners-starting conversations that shape how schools use data to better support students, staff, and communities.
Working closely with Strategic Account Executives and reporting to the Data & Analytics Sales Director, you'll influence the earliest and most meaningful stages of the revenue journey. Your work helps ensure that the right conversations happen at the right time, with purpose and relevance.
How you'll drive success
  • Lead outbound prospecting through thoughtful, research-driven phone calls, emails, and outreach to K-12 decision-makers.
  • Convert both outbound and inbound interest into well-qualified meetings, with a focus on quality and meaningful engagement.
  • Build a strong understanding of Frontline's Data & Analytics solutions and the real-world challenges school administrators face.
  • Research accounts and stakeholders to personalize outreach and spark relevant, high-value conversations.
  • Partner with Strategic Account Executives by scheduling and handing off meetings with clear context, insights, and recommending next steps.
  • Nurture early-stage relationships through consistent, value-focused follow-up.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date to support visibility, forecasting, and collaboration.
  • Consistently work toward activity, pipeline, and conversion goals with intention and accountability.
What you bring to help us grow
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • One to two years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a customer-facing role that involved outbound outreach.
  • A proven ability to turn conversations into qualified meetings.
  • Experience in technology or SaaS environments is helpful but not required.
  • Clear, confident communication and a thoughtful approach to engagement.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
  • A results-oriented mindset paired with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
What you'll need to thrive
  • Motivation to take initiative and follow through with consistency.
  • Openness to feedback and a desire to continuously improve your approach.
  • Comfort navigating change and adapting as tools, processes, and strategies evolve.
  • A collaborative mindset that values shared success over individual wins.
