We have an immediate need for an entry-level Costpoint Project Setup Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Contract Setup Manager, the entry-level Costpoint Project Setup Financial Analyst will be a key member of a highly collaborative team responsible for ensuring SPA contracts are accurately established and maintained in our Costpoint accounting system. In this role, the Costpoint Project Setup Financial Analyst will interpret contract documents and translate them into precise Costpoint setups that support effective program execution and accurate billing. They will manage initial contract configurations and updates in the Costpoint Projects Module (including workforce mapping), review setups completed by other team members for accuracy, and maintain clear, organized documentation of all setups and modifications. The Costpoint Project Setup Financial Analyst will also lead contract kickoff meetings and work closely with Contract Administrators, finance and accounting teams, and Program Managers, to set-up projects and continuously refine our processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    • This is an entry-level position (0-2 years of experience).
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new systems and processes.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with others in a virtual environment.

Desired Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Business Administration, or related field).
    • Understanding of US Government contract terms and conditions, including FAR, CAS, GAAP, and CFR regulations.
    • Experience in Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting Tools.
    • Customer service experience.
    • Previous program coordination or contracts experience.
