Job description

Location: Portland, OR
Position Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
Reports To: Merchandise Manager
About Official LeagueOfficial League creates premium apparel and headwear for sports teams, leagues, and lifestyle brands across North America and beyond. From our own collections to merchandise for the Portland Pickles, Portland Bangers FC, Portland Cherry Bombs FC, and dozens of partner organizations, we pride ourselves on creating products that connect fans with the teams they love.
We're looking for an organized, dependable, and hands-on Apparel Studio & Fulfillment Specialist to become the operational backbone of our production and fulfillment operations.
We are looking for a culture fit who is naturally organized, obsessed with the details, and eager to learn the ins and outs of apparel production and fulfillment. If you love clothes, sports, and making things happen behind the scenes, we will fully train you on everything you need to know.
Position Summary
The Apparel Studio & Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for keeping inventory moving, orders flowing, and our Portland studio looking sharp. This role is a dynamic mix of hands-on fulfillment, learn-as-you-go apparel production, and daily logistics.
You'll work closely with our creative, production, and operations teams to support our growing e-commerce and print-on-demand business. This is a perfect entry-level role for someone who wants to break into the apparel industry and learn how a brand functions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment & Inventory Management
  • Pick, Pack, & Ship: Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently across all Official League brands (including the Pickles, Bangers FC, and Cherry Bombs FC).
  • System Operations: Learn to use Shopify, Printavo, and other fulfillment software to track and process daily orders.
  • Inventory Control: Keep studio stock organized, count incoming inventory, and make sure everything is in its right place.
  • Team Communication: Keep the internal team updated on shipment statuses and tracking info.

Shipping, Logistics & Training
  • Carrier Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for daily UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipments.
  • International Shipping: Handle domestic and international shipping paperwork (we will teach you exactly how international customs and guidelines work!).
  • Problem Solving: Keep an eye on shipments and help resolve delivery delays or issues when they pop up.

Print-on-Demand & Apparel Production Support
  • Machine Operation: Learn to operate and maintain our cool in-house apparel equipment, including embroidery machines, DTF (Direct-to-Film) printers, heat presses, and xTool laser engravers (comprehensive training provided).
  • Workflow Support: Prep blank garments, load transfer films, thread embroidery machines, and run quality checks so every piece of apparel looks premium.
  • Supply Tracking: Keep an eye on production supplies (ink, film, thread) so the machines never experience downtime.

Studio & Vendor Support
  • Workspace Pride: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly efficient production and retail workspace.
  • Sample Management: Organize and track product samples for the creative team.
  • Production Tracking: Help track factory timelines, production schedules, and vendor communications to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications (Who You Are)
  • Detail-Obsessed: You notice the little things, love an organized space, and naturally double-check your work.
  • Eager to Learn: You aren't afraid of technology or machinery; you're excited to learn how to run printers, embroidery machines, and shipping software.
  • Prioritization Pro: You can handle a fast-paced environment and know how to manage your time across different tasks.
  • Great Communicator: You are a team player who communicates clearly and loves solving puzzles.
  • Tech Literacy: Comfortable using basic tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Culture Vibe: A passion for sports, apparel, streetwear, or the Portland creative scene is a massive plus.
  • Bonus points (but not required) if you have experience with screen printing, sewing, DIY projects, Shopify, or retail formatting.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday in a studio and production environment.
  • Must own motor vehicle to transport various goods and get to/from our warehouse and retail locations.

Benefits
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Awesome employee merchandise discounts.
  • Hands-on training and mentorship in apparel production, fulfillment, and logistics.
  • A dynamic, collaborative workplace with a creative team where no two days are alike.
  • Real opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding company.
