Position Overview:
The Production Technician role is Owens Corning's entry-level manufacturing position. This full-time, permanent position involves 12-hour shifts and offers a career-launching opportunity with formal training programs and extensive room for growth.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
  • Learn processes including printing, wrapping, banding, and staging finished units for the warehouse.
  • Perform a broad range of inspection activities following standard work guidelines.
  • Complete daily housekeeping and other standard work items for areas of accountability.
  • Monitor processes and identify defects in product quality.

What You'll Need
Requirements:
  • Preferred: 2 years' experience in a fast-paced industrial team-based environment.
  • Ability to use equipment or tools as necessary in accordance with all safety rules.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Comfortable with basic computer skills including email and data entry.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Ability to workdays, nights, and overtime.
  • Meet physical demands of the position.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Required).
